There are three barriers LSI aims to break through to make our vision a reality. The first is the pace at which technology is shaping society and that traditional educational institutions struggle to keep pace. The second is the shortage of people with the knowledge and skills to lead the charge in shaping the UK’s role in the global digital economy. The third barrier is structural, as the lack of diversity among those leading digital transformation results in built-in bias, reinforcing other barriers and limiting the UK’s innovation, output, and relevance of digital technology.
