3. Credit Transfer: You may be eligible to transfer credits under our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Recognition of Prior Experience (RPE) Regulations. The Student Success Team can advise you.

4. Application Process: To apply, please submit your application through our Admissions Portal. Ensure you check the entry criteria and include:

Please contact our Student Success Team for further guidance on this.

Transferring to Another Programme within the School

Under our Admissions and Registration Regulations, students may transfer to another programme or mode of study with the approval of the Director of Education.

1. Initial Discussion: It is advisable to discuss your intention to transfer with your Programme Leader, Personal Academic Tutor (PAT), and the Student Success Team. However, you may also approach the Director of Education directly, explaining your reasons for the transfer.

2. Director’s Decision: The Director’s decision will be based on various factors, including entry criteria.

3. Transfer Date and Implications: If your transfer is approved, the effective transfer date will consider programme structure, module requirements, and RPL/RPE exemptions. The Student Success Team will also be able to assist you with this process. Additionally, your Maximum Registration Period (MRP) will be recalculated based on the effective enrolment date of your previous programme or mode of study.

To manage academic continuity, credit alignment and registration period accuracy.

Transferring to Another Provider from the School

Students wishing to transfer to another educational provider should consult the relevant programme and admissions information of the new institution. It is also important to discuss your situation with someone at that provider for tailored assistance, and to review their RPL and RPE requirements.

Our Student Success Team is available to support you throughout the transfer process, which includes providing advice on financial matters such as student loans, references, a letter confirming your last day at our institution, and, if applicable, a transcript and credit certification. Please also see the Credit Accumulation Regulations on credits. The Team will arrange a meeting with you once you inform them you wish to transfer and will help you with the process.

Important: Please maintain your attendance in your current course while you prepare for your transfer.

International Students: If you are an international student seeking to transfer to another institution, we strongly encourage you to speak with the Student Success Team for further guidance.
