Science of Adult Education
Course Overview
This module will explore the intricacies of learning science to enhance learning outcomes in the age of AI. It is designed for educators, administrators, professionals, and others committed to using emerging technologies, such as AI, to transform teaching and learning and higher education institutions. The curriculum will cover the psychology of learning and the theories of how adults acquire, process, and retain knowledge, and how they develop cognitive, technical, and professional skills. It will look at how teaching and learning has been historically delivered, the paradigms and theories underpinning them, and how technology is challenging and disrupting this.
